Dating back to the 1800's Oatmeal Stout was touted as being "nourishing". While we don't know how true this was about the beer, it does make for a lovely moisturizing soap. Please just don't try confused the soap suds for the other type of suds. Nowhere near as tasty.

Remember, all of the soaps we make contain no drying agents. This means (in addition to not drying your skin) they will be reduced to a mass of goo if they are left sitting in water. Be sure to store your soap on a tray or to set it on its side to allow it to dry between uses. This will significantly improve the life of your Soapy Goodness.
