After shampooing with shampoo bar, wet bar to activate (wait a few seconds bar will soften up in warm water) rub in hands or apply directly to wet hair. Work through hair. It does not lather but has a lotion-like feel. Heavy concentrated conditioner bar, so a little goes a long way. Rinse out. Allow bar to dry out and solidify again.
